Which size should I take?
Go by the waist of whoever will wear the shorts. Waist in cm (inches): 2XS 72 (28), XS 76 (30), S 80 (32), M 84 (33), L 92 (36), XL 100 (39), 2XL 108 (43), 3XL 116 (46), 4XL 124 (49), 5XL 132 (52), 6XL 140 (55). If it falls between two sizes, take the larger one.
Is the fit men's or women's?
One cut, and it is the same one for everyone. Go by the waist measurement rather than by a usual size.
I am buying these for someone else. What do I need to know?
Their waist in centimetres. That is the only number that matters. If the size is wrong, the returns page says what to do.
When will it arrive, and where do you ship?

How do I wash it?
Cold, inside out, no softener, no dryer. The colour is in the fabric rather than on it, so it is the fabric you are looking after and not a print.
